There’s been a lot of talk to date about Pokemon GO Gen 2. However, not much has been officially revealed by Niantic, and the various code dumps of previous versions didn’t shed much light either.
That is, until versions 0.45.0 & 1.15.0 for Android and iOS, respectively, were released a few days ago. Among the things found in the code that you can start looking forward to:
Generation 2 Pokemon Are In The Code
The metadata reveals that all Gen 2 Pokemon families are present. In previous instances, it didn’t take long for Niantic too release a playable version that contains the latest code (see Buddy Pokemon system). Are Niantic going to surprise us all and release the 2nd generation before the new year?
